I mainly took up photography as a bit of a creative outlet and a break from my normal job, that and I can't draw for toffee so a camera seemed the obvious choice.

I don't have one specific 'genre' as such and I'm happy shooting anything from portraits to landscapes, though I do prefer photographing people and will happily point a camera at anyone who'll let me.

Though this is mainly something I do purely for my own enjoyment in creating images that I'm pleased with and appeal to others (hopefully!), I've also been lucky enough to have my work used for brochures and print advertising by a number of housebuilders and have been privately commissioned to provide portrait, event, and family photography. I've also had my work published in photography magazines, trade journals and showcased on photography websites.
